What is GST consent letter?

 It is a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the owner of the premises stating that he doesn't have any objection to the taxpayer using the premises for carrying out business. Under GST, there is no specific format for the consent letter. It can be any written document. 

How do I write a NOC letter for GST? 

That I have given the above property to my Son/Daughter/Husband……………………….. (Having Pan Number……………) for operating and conducting their business named as……………………………………. from “the said premises”. That I have no objection for my Son/Daughter/Husband……………………………………….. to uses above property for business. Example in image.

. Is NOC mandatory for GST registration?

 NOC can be used for employment, Registrations under various acts like GST, private limited company, firm, LLP's etc. If the taxpayer owns the property or if the property is not on rent or lease, NOC is mandatory for GST registration and other registrations.
